Bought a new Hotpoint on March to replace our old Zanissi that lasted 1o years with no repairs, then another 2 years after a repair where they came out to fix it the same day!!!! . New Hotpoint broke around the 20th Sep, We are 7 miles from the nearest laudrette and we live on a muddy farm with dogs etc. It is in warrenty, engineer came on the 26th Sept, but took him nearly a week, he did not have and could not get the part. I just phoned. The soonest they may have the part and can come out to replace it is now 15th October. We are struggling to find clothes to wear. To me this is unacceptable in a new machine. Although 6 mnths old I think unde the circumstanses we should have got a replacement. Never getting a Hotpoint again.
