Box office India Anjaan had reportedly made ₹11.5 crore (US$1.9 million) nett approx on its first day in Tamil Nadu alone and collected ₹15 crore (US$2.5 million) in India. From the Chennai region alone, it made over ₹2 crore (US$330,000). The Telugu dubbed version Sikander grossed ₹4 crore (US$660,000), making it the biggest opening for a Non-Rajini Telugu dubbed film. The film made ₹18 crore (US$3.0 million) worldwide on its first day, which is the highest for a Non-Rajini Tamil film. Overseas Anjaan also performed well in key overseas markets. The film minted ₹41.59 lakh (US$69,000) and ₹22.82 lakh (US$38,000) from the UK and Australia box office respectively on its first day, according to film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh. It also took a very good opening in USA and eventually grossed ₹64.71 lakh (US$110,000) on its first day, as told by Taran Adarsh.
