The decision is probably due to the availability of single screens but that still holds for 15th August as well as Chennai Express will book for two weeks. Basically there will not be much difference in the single screens available on 15th August and 8th August unless Chennai Express falls flat. The film is now sandwiched between Chennai Express and Satyagraha leaving the film little breathing space and making it tough to gross big.
