Boy, have we come a long way…we are better off today than “years ago” today - that’s Good News! This short clip features a lot of “flops” & great advances - TODAY was the discovery of Los Angeles, the 2nd largest city in the U.S. – And I bet you didn’t know, that the “founders” where from Spain, who brought to us, oranges, figs, grapes, etc. (Trabucio Tapia brought the “mother load” grape vine, directly from the King of Spain’s vineyard!) So when you think of that busy city, think, here’s how it all began! : ) --- On September 4, 1781, a group of Spanish settlers traveling from New Spain (Mexico) founded a pueblo along a healthy river and named it for "Our Lady, Queen of Angels," and thus, Los Angeles was born...
