Boys & Girls Club Youth Football League taking Registrations! The Boys & Girls Club is now taking registrations for the Club’s football program for children ages 7-12 years old. Interested youth can pick up a registration form at the Boys & Girls Club and must enroll as a member of the Boys & Girls Club to participate in the league. Club membership is $5 per year and the football registration fee is $35 per child. A current 2014 physical and a copy of the child’s birth certificate are also required to participate in the league. This year the league will include community teams from Chuckey-Doak, Greeneville, North Greene, South Greene and West Greene. The league will have Jr. Varsity and Varsity league teams. The Jr. Varsity teams are for boys & girls ages 7, 8 & 9 and all players must be 7 years old by August 1st and no older than 9 years old before August 1st. The Varsity teams will be for boys & girls ages 10, 11, and 12 years old and all players must be 10 years old by August 1st & no older than 12 years old before August 1st. Practices for the league will start on or after Monday, July 28th. The league will officially open when they host the Captain D’s Kickoff Classic on August 23rd. Registration forms are available at the Boys & Girls Club and can be picked up Monday to Friday from 7:30 am until 5:30 pm.
