PHG SKINS 3 CLUB CHALLENGE – RULES IN BRIEF Only 3 clubs are allowed (including putter) £20 stake per person No Handicap For those of you who don’t know how the SKINS golf is played, here is a brief explanation of the rules: The object is to win as many holes (SKINS) as possible. To win a SKIN you have to win the hole outright beating all other players in the group, if the low score is tied by anyone in the group then it’s carried over to the next hole which will then be worth 2 SKINS. If at the 9th hole the SKIN hasn’t been won then “count back” will determine the winner. For example if two players tie with the low score at the 9th then you would take their scores from hole 8 and the player with the low score on hole 8 would take the SKIN(S). At the end of the first 9 the FOUR (there may be less) players who have won the most SKINS will play in the same group for the SUPER SKINS SHOWDOWN. Each hole will be worth £10 in the SHOWDOWN with the exception of the 9th which will be worth £80. Only a maximum of 4 players can go through. If players have won the same amount of skins after the first 9 then the following will decide who goes through to the SHOWDOWN: *Number of Birdies *Number of Pars *Best Gross Score *Putt Out We should have two groups of 4 on Saturday, this will be drawn out before the start so try and get there for 10.30 if possible.
