Brad was not only a member of CFU but I considered him a friend. - TopicsExpress

Brad was not only a member of CFU but I considered him a friend. We spent a lot of hours together, it was not uncommon for him to come in an hour before the gym opened and get in some bonus work. Whether he was getting in a short row, doing pull ups or muscle ups, or working on his atrocious overhead squat, he was always trying to improve. He was a very good CrossFitter and people loved to WOD with him because he could always push everyone around him to work harder. I will never forget the last WOD I did with him, Fight Gone Bad! I have never talked more trash in my life. Brad was one of those guys that never got tired and we were getting ready to start round 3 and I was exhausted and he didnt even look like he had started working out yet. My only chance was to get in his head and hope that would slow him down...it didnt work. We were tied going into that last round and he killed me, lol. Not only was he very athletic but he was one of the most genuine guys I have ever met. He never hesitated to talk to anyone including my kids, Hudson still talks about Harper till this day. There are not enough people in this world like Brad, he made you want to be a better person. I miss him and he will forever be in my heart. I will never forget the impact he had on my life! Any CrossFit Boxes out there that want to do Harper on Monday 5/19 from the comfort of their own box please feel free to join us and celebrate a great man. Please post pics and tag CrossFit Uprising. It would be great to see this grow and see CrossFit gyms all over the world support Brad on this day. If you see this post please tag your box owner so they can see it and know about it.
