Branch Manager - Al Yusr Installment Co. Buraida Qasim, Saudi Arabia Role Purpose • The position is responsible for managing the company sales, customer satisfaction, and credit application in timely manner, to ensure that sales targets and customer service are achieved through cross marketing, up-selling and accessorizing to ensure professional service to the customers and grow the revenue and profitability of the area. Additionally, the branch manager needs to strengthen the business relationship with the important marketing within his branch as well as team management, CRM, control over area financial expenses and the monthly MIS letter. • The main focus of this position is maintaining the credit portfolio and managing growth and profitability in line with the agreed business plan objectives, always within the framework of agreed policies and due regard to risk management, area marketing & compensation monitoring. Area of Accountabilities 1. Branch Operation Management : • Participates in development of the branch’s annual target & staffing plan and Key Performance Indicators. • Implements cost-effective organization structure suitable to achieve revenue, customer service and profitability objectives. • Implements credit policy in line with the agreed table of delegation matrix. • Undertakes hands-on management of the branch affairs in order to deliver the agreed upon business objectives within such district. • Implements and ensures continued compliance with corporate policies and procedures with respect to credit, collection, new business development; risk management and customer service standards. • Assists branch staff in closing business target and acts as first line contact to customers to facilitate resolution of any issues experienced with the process. • Improves the sales by maintaining infrastructure with sales executives within the area through product development programs. • Reviews with sales support staff, cases where credit application is likely to be delayed beyond the agreed date. Intervenes in such cases to expedite the turnaround time and communicates effectively with the customer. • Recommend approves credit applications according to the approval matrix (Lease only) within a turnaround time of 24 hours. • Attends to all customers’ operational needs and ensures visibility by maintaining ongoing contact (calling targets) and relationship with them in order to proactively identify and react to these needs accordingly. 2. Credit Management: • Monitors all credit application documentation is validated as to the authenticity and ensures the update at the computer system on a daily basis. • Refers credit applications in excess of delegated authority to Credit Committee for approval. • Direct the activities of sales staff to market to key customers in the area and follows up on client acquisition. • Builds up reference letter and recommendation for the credit application. • Visit clients randomly to express it’s strengthen of the business relation and look for new business opportunities. • Follows up and monitors Insurance claims with the insurance coordinator. 3. Customer Service Support: • Ensuring the customer enquiries been meet timely. • Monitor the customer satisfaction index, to ensure weaknesses and strength of KPI customer satisfaction level for the area. 4. Collection Management : • Plans, in coordination with area manager, weakly debt-collection targets and allocates these targets to the Collectors. • Reviews daily collection report to monitor performance of each Collector and take immediate remedial action, including visiting/calling customers if need be. • Identify on a weekly basis, customer accounts requiring legal action and escalate such cases to the area manager for approval / initiation of any legal action and/ or collection through the external debt collection agency ensuring completeness and accuracy of all support-documentation (Contracts, promissory notes, copy of identifications, Commercial register etc) within the framework of the credit policy. • Personally reviews high delinquency and large facility and coordinates with area supervisors to find alternative collection approaches. 5. Reporting • Provide a monthly report by 5th of the month-end, ageing of all pending applications and reasons for delays in processing • Provide weekly updates/ communications to the clients on the status of their pending credit application. • Reports monthly, by 5th of the month-end, on actual collections against the monthly targets. • Provides monthly report on new corporate clients acquired during the month, and status on potential clients. 6. Achievement of Business Plan objectives: • Contributes to the achievement of business plan objectives supporting the company through effective budget monitoring and advising on cost management and process rationalization. 7. Staff Management & Knowledge Transfer: • Communicates with staff on weekly and monthly basis, the area business objectives. • Supports and coaches the staff in performance of their duties to assure that standards are met and that the objectives and targets of the area are achieved. • Develops and obtain approval of staff incentive plans and implements such plans linked to clear targets and objectives. Requirements Requirements -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Knowledge Knowledge of managing business, budgeting and monitoring techniques, consumer financing, with ability to set up area goals and objectives. Education Associates / Bachelors Degree in Business or Finance Certifications Consumer credit, business operations certificates is preferable. Experience 4 – 6 years of experience, with minimum of 2 years experience in consumer finance or similar role in automotive industry.
