Brandon was resting well today when Mickey and I went to see him. He was so overcome with joy from seeing his Pap that I had to keep wiping tears from his eyes. I asked Brandon to show his Pap that he could close his eyes and he immediately closed them. Now, when I ask him to do it for me...it usually takes many seconds for him to accomplish this task. I was so happy to see him accomplish this request so quickly! Please be in prayer for Melissa and Jimmy tomorrow as they drive to Rockwall, TX to pick up equipment we are getting for Brandon. We prayed about finding a standing frame to use to help him stand to work his muscles. My friend Darin Laughard from Hope, AR sent me a message that he had found one for his son Jordan on Craigs List. Immediately, I pulled up Craigs List and typed in standing frame and found one in Rockwall. I texted Melissa the phone number of the person with the standing frame and she called her. Its amazing but, not only does she have the piece of equipment we were wanting but much more that we really needed as well...a lift, machine for use in tube feeding, etc. Its sad because this woman no longer needs all of the equipment because her son, who had a Traumatic Brain Injury, passed away. I know she is glad that she found someone who really needs the equipment and who will use it as she did. So, you see, all we have to do is ask, believing and God will provide what we need if He thinks it is really what we need. In this instance, He provided not only what we asked for but He surprised us with much, much more. How great is our God! How wonderful! Bless the Lord, O my soul. You never cease to amaze me with your goodness! Amen.
