(I received a donation Back in 2011 from this same particular donor) *Though I Will be focusing on rehabilitating Bears, I am thankful that this individual appreciated the bit of work that I had done with Moose, and though they can be difficult to rehabilitate at times; I am Happy to say that whenever, I had raised them from very young calves - I have had a 100 % success. Yearlings are very difficult if there is an underlying ailment,and I simply do not feel comfortable rehabilitating them, but I did have good luck with 1 yearling, but not with others - a necropsy was done on 2 moose yearlings that didnt make it. Though my passion Is rehabilitating and observing Bears; I guess if I was able to rehabilitate for a living someday, and stay home; I might possibly consider rehabbing a small # of Moose calves ,but my biggest focus and attention truly Is with the bears, and always will be-I so enjoy rehabilitating them and observing their development and behavior.. I appreciate all my husband has done too- in reference to helping me with the enclosure, and what not, and he knows that this Is my dream, and Is very understanding...I am the only caretaker pretty much and observer when it comes to the bears, and he gets that, and understands completely.
