Brave Warriors coach resigns post three days to clash with the Super Eagles With just three days to the match against the Super Eagles in a Group F World Cup qualifying match, Namibia coach Roger Palmgren has resigned his position. John Muinjo, President of the Namibia Football Association (NFA) announced the departure of the coach on Sunday. According to a release on the NFA website, Palmgren put in his immediate resignation which stated that he was quitting his position because of serious threats directed towards him and his family. The Swedish coach was appointed in May and helped his team to a 0-0 draw away to Malawi last week Wednesday. Going forward, the NFA announced that Ricardo Mannetti will take over the coaching reins and will be assisted by Ronnie Kanalelo. Other than the resignation of their coach, Namibia are still without the injured Rudolf Bester, Henrico Botes, Heinrich Isaacks and Ronald Ketjijere, but Oliver Risser has resumed training and is in contention for a starting berth..
