Brazilian Film Festival 4FIPC submissions deadline extended The 4th International Children and Young Filmmaker Festival (FIPC), which displays films produced by children and youngsters of 8 to 17 years old, will have its submissions deadline extended until October 1st. The regulation is available on the website pequenocineastafest.br/index_en.html The festival will take place between November 5th- 9th in various areas of Rio de Janeiro with free movie screenings. It will award eight categories with the trophy “Small Filmmaker” as well as with Nikon cameras. A kit of a DSLR D3200 digital camera + AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens will be offered to each film selected as the best film by the official jury in the following categories: National Competitive made by children (ages 8-13); National Competitive made by youngsters (ages 14-17); International Competitive made by children (ages 8-13) and International Competitive made by youngsters (ages 14-17). Each of the best films selected by a popular jury in the categories National Competitive (ages 8-13 and 14-17) and International Competitive (ages 8-13 and 14-17), will be awarded a Nikon COOLPIX L830 digital camera.
