Bread is the staple item of food for the people of Syria at present..Many are surviving on precious little else...Indeed, sadly innocent civilians queuing for this simple bread are known to have been killed whilst the bread factories inside Syria were targeted in airstrikes. Al Fatiha Global are working with teams on the ground in Syria to set up a bread factory in a town called Hayaan between Killis (Turkey) and Aleppo (Syria) to serve the needs of approximately 500, 000 refugees heavily affected by the current crisis. Situated strategically the bread factory will source the raw materials, produce and transport the bread specifically to benefit those who need it most manufacturing between 150, 000- 200, 000 breads DAILY!
