* Break an Egg * So many see God as a tough egg to crack Judgment, anger and things such as that But this Lord of vengeance just isn’t true Who spoke this message of fear into you This deadly perception is keeping you down No one’s so lost that they cannot be found A simple “I’m Sorry” put cracks in the shell The hard repentant heart is how the egg fell It was oozing forgiveness as soon as it broke With patience and grace encased in the yoke The Lord sets you free from this cycle of sin He doesn’t remember the state you were in It cannot be earned, He won’t make you beg You now have the secret to scramble the egg S.
