*** Breaking News - MPD Identify Bank Robber - Need Help Locating Him The early afternoon bank robbery that took place on November 18th, 2014 kept detectives busy throughout the night. However, with public assistance and tenacious investigative work, Manchester detectives have prepared warrants for a person in connection with the unarmed robbery, which took place at TD Banknorth, 300 Franklin Street. Manchester Police detectives are seeking public assistance once again in an attempt to locate and arrest; James Whinnem, thirty-four years of age, City of Manchester, NH. Whinnem has an active arrest warrant, with a limited extradition, for Robbery (F). He is described as 6’00, 175lbs and may be wearing glasses. Whinnem was last seen fleeing TD Banknorth at approximately 3:00p.m., on November 18th while wearing a black and gray fleece coat and a matching fleece hat, with a red stripe on the bottom of the hat. Although he was not armed during the incident, the public should not attempt to capture the wanted man. Instead, Manchester Police are urging you to call the Manchester Police Department if you know the whereabouts of Mr. Whinnem, so we can locate and arrest him without incident.
