Breaking News ABUJA PDP SHORTLISTED CHUKA ODOM, MIKE AHAMBA, BETHEL AMADI FOR IMO GUBER! The latest information oozing out from the PDP headquarters Abuja had it that the movers and shakers of the party have finally shortlisted some names as their preferable IMO State guber aspirants. The information which came to me as a shock further had it that the party decides to look for those they called political featherweights to give their ticket due to prebendary reasons, haven thinker about merits and demerits of picking political heavyweights as their preferable candidate in the state, decided to do away with the big shots to avoid political premonitions between the heavyweights who are already engrossed between one another. My competent source who happens to be one of the partys political honcho opined further that the National leadership of the party is mindful of Okorocha,s popularity as they are trading with caution in order for him not to feast nor devour them like a hungry Lion on the course of the election. He further averred that the National leadership of the party shall soon woo some IMO State PDP leaders/ honchos like chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, I D Nwoga, Chief Achike Udenwa, etc for them to buy the idea fast and work on it as soon as possible since election is fast approaching, but expressed his reservations among those shortlisted on who shall finally emerge their party flag bearer and their individual achievements and contributions that can proportion them to IMO people. Again, i equally learnt that some of those shortlisted have got wind of the information already hence their respective camps and vagaries of supporters are currently in a state of conjubilant conjugacy owing to the news. Furthermore, they have equally intensified their efforts and lobbies as most of them have relocated to Abuja seeking for favours and their wives turned master,s servants because of the ticket. But my discussion to some party pundits over the issue was greeted with a lot of reservations and misgivings! While some talked about the fate of those that have been criss crossing LGAs for the past few months consulting. Others queried about the capacity and capability of the shortlisted aspirants to battle Okorocha in any election contest in the state. Therefore, submitted that such action will mark the end and collapse of PDP in IMO State. A peep into the camps of some of the frontrunners that were alleged to have been dropped proved that if by any overt or covert such action takes place! It then means that the IMO State PDP shall be buried before the election time properly. Meanwhile, base on public opinion, i still wants to maintain that the IMO State PDP do not have what it takes nor any guber candidate yet that can withstand Governor Rochas Okorocha,s hurricane movement and phenomenon come 2015 general election in the State, as the above mentioned names are going to receive public opprobrium by the IMO masses in the election contest. Let us therefore fold our hands and see how it goes at the EBOLA family. Ndewo nu!
