Breaking News OHAKIM JEERED EATEN ROASTED YAM, CORN AND PEER AT POPULAR NKWO ORJI MARKET SQUARE IN OWERRI. Humiliation was said to have been meted out to Chief Ikedi Godson Ohakim at a popular Nkwo Orji market square, a satellite town in Owerri North axis of Owerri in IMO state. Chief Ikedi Ohakim who stopped at the market square and condescended very low perhaps to imitate Governor Rochas Okorocha,s swag of dining with the masses of Ndimo everywhere he goes, was humorously/dramatically and ridiculously humiliated. Information had it that prior to his guber declaration on that fateful day, Chief Ikedi Ohakim decided to perhaps test his popularity amongst the traders of the vicinity where he made a stop over at the popular Nkwo Orji market square, he came out of his car and created a scene by migrating to a corn seller/roaster along the road and bought four (4) pieces of corns and some good numbers of peers. He was said to have further went to a yam roaster and bought some pieces of yams and started eating it. Surge of crowd began to gather momentum at that juncture and he turned to the crowd and pleaded with them to please support his guber ambition and subsequently vote for him come 2015 gubernatorial election. A young man from the crowd was quoted to have asked Chief Ikedi Ohakim why he was chewing corn in the public of which he has never done before. The former governor told the young man and the crowd that if chewing some pieces of roasted corns and yams in the public just like Governor Rochas Okorocha could make him the governor of IMO state one more time, that he doesnt have any problem to emulate Rochas in chewing corn. Their was a thunderous laughter from the spectacular crowd who created some ripples at that juncture. Again, another guy was quoted to have asked him if there is anything he forgot in the government house, of which he couldnt picked up when he was there before as governor rather than embarking on his so called SURUGEDE second missionary journey. Chief Ikedi Ohakim was quoted to have asked the guy who was his father and the guy replied and asked him who was his father too. the huge crowd once again bursted into laughter. While the drama was going on at Nkwo Orji, some portions of the crowd started singing to him! ROCHAS WE KNOW! ROCHAS WE KNOW! ROCHAS WE KNOW! Perhaps base on the unfriendly posture of the surging crowd over him, the vilipend Ohakim made a U-turn and started moving back towards his car on seeing that he couldnt coarse them which hitterto triggered a mass jeering and booing at Ohakim. He immediately droved off and made another stop over at Chief Lemi Akakem,s resident, perhaps still with some roasted corns at hand, where he later droved with Lemmy and paid an unscheduled visit to Orji women August meeting and donated about 500 dollars to the women in order for them to support his 2015 ambition. Meanwhile, reactions has continued to trail the comment made by Chief Ikedi Ohakim prior to his declaration that he will chew Rochas like a biscuit. Some political pundits who analyzed the comment have come up with a different views and encompassing meanings towards the statement. While some cautioned him to atleast control his bad mouth, opining that his bad mouth shall ruin his political career and perhaps send him into his final political oblivion, others queries if a RABBIT could chew a LION even in a moonlight folktales or folklores they concluded.
