Breaking News: Two Missionaries Missing Since Saturday: Prayers needed! Two missionaries and a local member have gone missing on their way to the island of Toamutu, French Polynesia on Saturday. Brother and Sister Mariteragi, a local missionary couple were on their way to a baptism with local member, Brother Burns captaining their trip to the outer island. The Centre of Rescue at Sea (MRCC) Papeete, Tahiti deployed all the resources of a State of Emergency: Aircraft and the Casa Guardian with the rescue helicopter Dauphin. The support federation Rescue has in turn committed seven ships for the rescue mission. Contacted Sunday night, the MRCC Papeete confirmed that search operations were still ongoing. The weather make the search very difficult. The area has had storms and heavy rain that cleared on monday morning. More on this story as it comes in. Prayers needed again.
