Breaking news-#Wa #wildhorses #foals shipped off #Yakama Nation to Canadian #horseslaughter-#rescue-SOS! Friends, tragedy is unfolding in Washington State where wild horses are being rounded up off the Yakama Reservation and sent to a feedlot in Zillah, which is selling and shipping them to Bouvry Exports in Canada for slaughter. The Yakima Nation says on its website that wild horses are revered as symbols of the true Yakama spirit and strength, but members of the tribe are rounding up and selling for slaughter hundreds of these horses. Families are being torn apart and foals, many still nursing, are being orphaned as their mothers are loaded and trucked for slaughter. Volunteers are lining up to save the babies and a triage has unit has been set up near the feedlot by Yakima Orphan Foal Network.
