Breaking news on Sky Sports News................ David Moyes has left Manchester United by mutual consent, a move not totally unexpected by United fans...... .......however, what may come as a surprise is the boards interim appointment of Steve Bruce, with immediate effect, until the end of the season, when a more long-term agreement will be discussed. The board have given no further details but confirmed that Bruces assistant will be Nick Barmby, who will prepare the team for this weekends clash at Newcastle.... .....it is not known how much input Sir Alex Ferguson had in the decision to appoint Bruce and Barmby but Sir Bobby Charlton stressed that the club needed stability....not another fly-by knight appointment. Interesting times.
