Breast Cancer awareness getting attention from women posting pictures with no makeup is totally cool. Why? Let me explain. What must be understood is the power of social media. It obviously has everyone talking about either the cause in some way. Awareness brought by people doing something simple or a bit crazy can and does generate much needed attention toward a cause, and this attention has caused even you and millions of others to communicate and discuss the causes in some way. That alone is a tremendous blessing for the cause of breast cancer awareness or other causes. Why? We must remember how amazing these small acts of compassion passing a message forward is the difference between a paid advertisement on TV, or in a magazine. It reaches more people. It causes more people to actively get involved that will most likely being more people to the dedication of the cause. And I have to respect the dedication of those who participated just because they helped establish the huge online awareness campaign that could possibly cause awareness for a cause even if for a small amount of support. I personally dont see more good than anything. At least people are doing something. Most arent doing anything at all. I have nothing negative at all to say about these people enjoying a life of compassion. Some people may not be able to donate a dime to whatever cause but by doing this it in some small way helps them to participate. Awareness is the magic behind causing people to consider the cause. It has to start with awareness. Not sending someone an invoice and expecting them to donate before having the right to participate. Thank God for the little things and the fun some people have to actually enjoy life and to show a little compassion.
