The Midwife said, Each time he eats, Why fuss with tablets, bottles, teats You dont need tins of formula and Your supply meets his demand So theres never any waste you see And best of all, breast milk is free! The Doctor said, That much is true But its good for his defences too. His immune system will be fighting fit - Even yours will feel the benefit. With fewer illnesses, your totll Have some tough guts, without the bottle! The Psychologist said, I quite agree But its not all about biology. Mother-baby contact, studies show Allows a deeper bond to grow. This bond, in turn, leads to a more Contented baby, thats for sure. Joes Dad said, Well, obviously It seems the natural choice to me. If our babys of the ilk, Thats brought up drinking powdered milk Hell not have as good a start As his breast-feeding counterpart. Thats settled then! Exclaimed his Mum, Nil Satis Nisi OptiMUM! Ill breast-feed my baby (and you should too) For nothing but the breast will do!
