For a long time I thought I must have just exuded confidence and a dont mess with me vibe and thats why I was never harassed in public about feeding my baby. Then it did happen as I was feeding my 6th baby one day, ironically, when I was at a break between sessions at a conference where I was speaking on breastfeeding. Im grateful for that experience, much like the author of this piece, it helped me be more aware of what other moms experience and to do what I can to help moms figure out what makes them comfortable in their journey.
