Breaux Bridge – A memorial service will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2013, at The Bridge Fellowship located at 2005 Rees Street in Breaux Bridge for Louise “Bubbie” Chapman, 95, of West Monroe, who died on Friday, August 16, 2013, at St. Agnes Nursing Home in Breaux Bridge. Chapman was born on February 13, 1918, in rural Mississippi to Hugh and Dolly Goza. She had a love for life enjoying painting and sculpting as well as travel and dancing. She was also a lifelong member of Beta Sigma Phi. She is survived by four children: Truley Juneau and her husband Patrick of Lafayette, James Johnson and his wife Jessie of Colorado Springs, Colo., Steve Chapman and his wife Rosa of Melbourne, Australia, and Barbara Gary and her husband Bob of Breaux Bridge; three sisters: Florence Peters Johnson of Ruston, Rhoda Tripp of Monroe and Roberta DeRossett of Texas; 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
