An part-time Animal License Canvasser walks in residential and business districts collecting and enforcing animal license ordinances, ; collects money for license fee payments and issues receipts to animal owners; verifies current rabies vaccinations and sterilization of dogs in the field; and reconciles and balances daily collections. May issue official notices. Successful candidates must be able to walk long distances, handle large volumes of work and provide excellent customer service.
