Brenda Tomblin, our Kids Activities Chairperson, share this with us: While walking around the 2008 Allen Park Street Fair I stopped at the Festival of Trees booth…what a pleasant surprise…Festival was coming to Allen Park and needed volunteers! A couple of weeks later I attended my first meeting where I met the greatest group of people who welcomed me with open arms. As I’m passionate about all things Christmas and crafting I was assigned to the Children’s Activity Area where kids of all ages are coloring, gluing and glittering, having their faces painting, and petting the Pet Therapy dogs. I love being a part of Festival of Trees and serving as the Children’s Activity Chair continues to be the most important and rewarding experience of my life!
