Brendan Rodgers has urged Liverpool fans to crank up the volume for Wednesday nights home clash with lowly Sunderland. It will be the title-chasing Reds first game at Anfield for a month following three straight away wins at Southampton, Manchester United and Cardiff. “Were really looking forward to playing at Anfield now on Wednesday night, Rodgers said. “Its a big game for us. Hopefully the supporters can really get behind the team well before kick-off, get the atmosphere revved up for the game and well look to continue on this great run. “As you can see, we believe we can perform well and get results. “Cardiff was the fourth away game on the spin that weve won and weve played three games on the bounce away from home - Southampton, Manchester United and now at Cardiff. “We ended up with six goals - arguably we could have had one or two more. But it was a wonderful demonstration of our mentality, resilience and our strength mentally. It was another demonstration of our offensive power.
