Brendan Rodgers on Liverpools defensive performance against West Ham - It was very disappointing and theres definitely work to do. If you do it over a number of games, its certainly something we need to look at. In the Aston Villa game, we probably brought the issues on ourselves. And today, Im not sure whether the second goal was a cross or a shot, but whatever way, it came from a cross and we needed to defend better. It all came from the intensity of our start. Today, our performance level wasnt what wed expect and normally the consequence of that is a disappointing result - and thats how it was today.
