Too often we walk around with a false pretense of legalistic faith. Full of fear & false piety. But I think Jesus wants us free. I think Jesus saves us so that we might become His marvelous expression to the world. This, I believe, is the type of person Manning is describing above. John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
