Brett Harrison Newman[Bow Lamp] 어제 소개해드린 샷건에 이어서 수요일 오늘 첫번째로 소개해드릴 작품은 Brett Harrison Newman의 Bow Lamp입니다.활 램프 라고하니 연속적으로 무언가 쏘는 것과 관련된 아이템이라서 그런지 저, Piece Master가 여러분께 무언가 쏴야(?) 할 것만 같은 생각이 듭니다 ^^; 그는 2012년에 로드 아일랜드 디자인 학교에서 산업디자인 전공으로 졸업하고, 현재 로드 아일랜드 프로비던스 시내의 Observatory라는 디자인 팀의 멤버로 있습니다. 그가 디자인한 아래의 램프는 전통적인 판금 성분과 함께 자연의 나무를 결합하여 매끄럽게 윤이나는 천장 시설이라고 할 수 있겠습니다. 겹쳐서 깎아낸 물푸레나무를 빛 주변으로 감싸고 있고, 코팅을 시킨 갓과 반사판에 자연스럽게 연결되어 있습니다. 그리고 램프는 직, 간접적으로 사용자가 원하는 용도 사용할 수 있도록 디자인 되었습니다. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brett Harrison Newman[Bow Lamp] Wednesdays first contents is a Bow Lamp by Brett Harrison Newman. He graduated from the Industrial Design program at the Rhode Island School of Design in 2012, and is currently a member of the design team at Observatory in Providence, Rhode Island. This lamp is a sleek suspended linear fixture that combines natural wood with more traditional sheet metal elements. The sculpted laminated ash limbs wrap around the light source and flow into crisp, minimal powder-coated shade and reflector components. It is designed to provide a blend of direct and indirect illumination to wash both wall and work surfaces in light.
