Brette + Grant - Wedding Highlights - 7.26.2014. We arrived in Frankfort, Kentucky as Brette and her bridesmaids were getting all prettied up with their hair and make-up team. We were able to grab some shots of the ladies enjoying the morning with the bride-to-be at Brettes best friends home. We, then, ventured over to the Capital Plaza Hotel in downtown Frankfort where Grant and his groomsmen were hanging out and being total dudes as they were getting ready for the big day. Their sweet ceremony took place at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church , where they were able to say I do among their families and closest friends. And, of course, a Frankfort, KY wedding isnt quite a wedding unless you document your day at the capitol. We were able to capture some shots of Brette, Grant, and their bridal party with the stunning capitol building as their backdrop. Their reception was held at the ever so charming, Buffalo Trace Distillery : a historic, 200 year-old distillery, known for its fine bourbon whiskey, and was adorned with wood slabs, barrels, and burlap; making for a beautiful rustic Bluegrass theme. Their reception was like a huge family reunion and a big party all in one. Their day was definitely spent among the ones they love the most. We can tell you that everyone there was having a BLAST celebrating their marriage! We felt so honored to capture the fun and heartfelt moments of their big day!!
