Brgy 23 retains third place finish Balangay 23 News Dark Horse Rescue 23, Barangay 23s Disaster and Emergency team, retained its third place finish in the just-concluded 2014 BFP Inter-Barangay Fire Fighting Competition held in Limketkai Parking Lot. History repeated again. Rescue 23 topped the clock but they were penalized after committing errors in the combat phase. It was the same situation in last years. Veteran Giants Barangay Balulang, on the other hand, snatched the title from defending champion Barangay Lapasan, while multi-titled Barangay Carmen rose from the ranks after losing two street years to finish second place this year. Lapasan, however, kept its titular trademark in the Bucket Relay competition. Last year, Lapasan nearly completed a sweep of all categories. Around 14 barangays participated, which increased by three this year. -- Many thanks to the supporters and to all your prayers... Nagsunburn ko.
