Brianna and I met for lunch in Tuscaloosa today. Our waiter got Briannas order wrong twice and I had to take unwanted items off of mine. After bringing the wrong food the second time, I saw the waiter throw his Halloween mask on the floor. I didnt leave a tip and was very tempted to ask the manager of we could have a huge discount. When I left I started thinking the poor guy was having a rough day. I Turned To Brianna and and asked Do you think it would freak him out if I went back and gave him a tip? I thought about him the whole time we were shopping and Pastor Kirk Walters sermon came to my mind. I remembered him telling us a story about having drinks poured down his back and still gave the waiter a very good tip. I told Brianna that we had to go back to the restaurant. We walked in and asked for the waiter to come to the front. As he came around the corner I told him I had been thinking about him a lot after we left and placed $10 in his hand. I told him we all have bad days. He gave us a big smile and thanked us. I dont know what he was going through, but I know I was a vessel used by God to bless him today. It wasnt a very big tip, but it was the blessing I received when I gave it to him. God is so amazing. He uses the smallest things to speak/touch to your heart.
