Brief update on ongoing work at Anderson Point Park, as of this morning: Mobilization is ongoing. Access road through park continues to have rock brought in and placed on roadbed to be able to move heavy equipment in and out. Road is bladed daily. Several large trees and root balls have been removed in the vicinity of the new retaining wall. Excavation of existing clay sub-soil in roadbed and downslope has started. Imported soil is being brought in and placed at the staging area. Imported soil will be placed after all the existing sub-grade soils are removed. Due to heavy rains, project completion date has been extended to December 5.
