Brighton duo Steve Joseph and Pete York first got together in the band Jonny Quality, most famous for supporting Fatboy Slim on his Palookaville tour after they dropped a CD through his letterbox. After the band played Beachdown in 2008, it slimmed down to a two-piece, their sound having been revolutionised by an investment in a loop pedal, and changed their name. A headline show at the Prince Albert at the end of last year was attended by Norman Cook, and saw the band get signed to a management contract by former Radio 1 presenter Briggy Smale. Since then they have come to the attention of XFM’s Christian Stevenson, who got one of their tracks on the Britflick Chalet Girl, and have supported Electric Soft Parade in the third part of their trawl through their back catalogue. OPEN MIC + Acoustic support by Lee Maddison and Danny Devon from 9pm Check this killer tune out! https://youtube/watch?v=zLyuOEipOXw
