Brilliant speech last night from Jim Sillars in Cardonald (Glasgow). Had to swallow hard to keep the feelings down. Ive waited all my life to hear rallying calls like that that actually mean something. A speech brimming with candour and honesty that when you hear it you KNOW were being asked to go out and vote for something thats going to be authentically different to what the phoney British Labour Party tell people when theyre in Scotland before heading back south to tell middle England not to worry, therell be no socialism. The truth chimes with people, you know it when you hear it. I dont know why that is, you just do. This speech from Jim Sillars was brimming with truth, honesty and genuine good will.
