Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. (Malachi 3:10 KJV) Notice the word bring and not give. The truth is the the first 10% belongs to God. Its His, its Holy, yet we keep all or a part and mix it in with our stuff. When Israel crossed over Jordan the first city they conquered was Jericho. And all the spoils were to be an offering unto The Lord. Yet when Aachen took a few things and hid them under his tent, Israel became cursed. Israel took 10 cities in the promised land the first one belonged to God. Seems like a pattern of God. First things first. Quit holding on to what is His, so that the blessing of God would be released into your life. And I didnt even touch the subject if offerings! I call you a giver and Blessed!
