Bring your pets, your children and yourself to Grand Strand Humane Society’s Annual WALK FOR THE ANIMALS FESTIVAL on Sunday, October 26th from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. For the very first time, the festival will be held at the animal-friendly Market Common in Valor Park. This is a family-oriented, fun event. You and your pet can participate in a parade around Valor Park, there will also be games, vendors, raffle table, food . . . please come in your favorite Halloween costume and enter the best pet kisser, best pet costume, best parent pet look-alike, and best pet trick contests. Music will be provided by D. J. Marino and Ed Piotrowski will MC. We will showcase our beloved dogs for adoption and offer micro chipping for a low-cost fee. Please join us as the proceeds go to feed, shelter and provide medical care to the unwanted, abandoned and abused animals of our community.
