#BringBackOurGirls : OSUN DECLARE PRAYER & FASTING The state government of Osun has declared Monday 12th May, 2014 as a day of prayer and fasting for our nation Nigeria and especially for the release of the 234 young girls abducted from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State. In a statement issued today in Osogbo by the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Sunday Akere, all citizens of the state irrespective of their religious belief were asked to set the day aside to seek the face of God for the forgiveness of all iniquity hindering the growth and development of the country. Recalling that on the appeal of the governor Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Muslims, traditionalist and Christians in the state made supplication to God on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the safe return of the young girls to their various families.
