British sports cars? No, but there are quite a few links in the long history with Ferrari and the United Kingdom. You may know that Mike Hawthorn drove for both Jaguar and Il Comentadore but did you know that Sir Stirling Moss and Kas Kastner almost drove for the Modenese legend? (Moss was involved in a horrific crash and Kastner was too tall). Did you know that designer Giovanni Michellotti is rightly famous for his Triumph and Ferrari? Did you know that in 1963 and 1966 Triumph wrested the team prize at Sebring away from Ferrari? Why all the Ferrari pics?, we found ourselves in Beverly Hills yesterday for the 60th anniversary of the marque in America. Trust me, I used to hate them too but its tough to consider yourself a car guy if you dont appreciate the Cavallino Rampante. These are some amazing cars.
