British temperamental chef, Gordon Ramsay concocting what he calls Malaysian curry.. Certainly doesnt look like Malaysian curry to me! Not a pinch of curry powder in his recipe, certainly no Malaysian curry powder at all, so how could it be Malaysian curry? Looks more like Malaysian masak lemak kuning (Malaysian yellow coconut-turmeric gravy).. I tried this recipe before just to see how Malaysian it is. I followed exactly what Ramsay did. My daughter said it tasted like kuah rendang (rendang gravy) but she said it was good. The next time I put in sweet pineapple and shrimps, keeping the recipe as Gordon Ramsay as possible. OK, taste good. Whatever, Malaysian curry Ramsay style is easy to do; you just blitz everything in a blender (onions, garlic, chilli, lemon grass, ginger, turmeric powder, etc.), then sautee the stuff in oil, put in coconut milk, chicken cuts, vegetable of your choice, and salt to taste.
