Brother Bilal Edgar Qureshi from UK is presenting his Strategic Vision of bringing people closer to Allah (swt) in Africa by establishing development institutions, organizations in different sectors, hospitals and clinics, Masajids, schools and helping poor and oppressed in the region to become financially independent through entrepreneurship skills. He has also dedicated his 3 sons to work with him and two of them 18 and 15 were there with him in the Vision Retreat. He is already involved in a impactful dawah project that has brought over 65 villages to Islam in last couple of years at the cost of only USD 10K. Bilal is originally a Portuguese, was a hard core catholic raised in the UK, but some 20 years ago Allah (swt) has opened his heart for Islam and he became a Muslim alhumdulillah. His wife is also a reverted sister who previously belonged to a powerful and rich Hindu family, who after becoming Muslim left her parents home and luxuries with only 2 bags of her stuff. They have 7 kids MashaAllah and all of them are Huffaz or in the process of becoming Huffaz plus fluent in Arabic MashaAllah.
