Brothers charged in home invasion in Sidney SIDNEY, Oh. --- On Thursday, January 1 2015 at approx. 8:24 PM officers were dispatched to 306 E Court Street, Sidney OH in regards to a home invasion with an occupant being injured. Upon arrival officers found a Travis Tubb, age 23, who resides at the residence, with multiple knife inflicted wounds. Tubb was transported to Wilson Hospital by Sidney Medics where he was treated and released. Officersonscenelearnedthattwomalesubjectshadkickedinthefrontdoorofthe residence and starting assaulting two individuals in the residence, one being Travis Tubb the other Travis’s father, John Tubb. One of the perpetrators was armed with a knife. Both Travis and John Tubb fought back using blunt type instruments. During the assault several injuries were inflicted on both sides. The suspects had fled the scene before officers arrived.Several minutes after the E Court Street call, medics and officers were dispatched to 2481 ApacheDrinSidney. Uponarrivalitwasdiscoveredthattwoindividualsatthatresidencehad injuries to the face and head consistent with blunt type trauma. One of these individuals, Zach Poore, age 19, who resides at 231 Highland Ave, Sidney, was transported to Wilson Hospital for treatment. He was later discharged. Also found injured at the residence was Justin Poore, age 24, who resides at the Apache address. He refused treatment.Investigators responded for follow up investigation. Both the E Court Street and Apache Ave residences were searched and processed for evidence. As a result of the investigation both Zach and Justin Poore were arrested and incarcerated at the Shelby County Jail. They both were charged with one count of Aggravated Burglary and one count of Felonious Assault. Both charges are felonies of the first degree.Investigation into this incident and for motive is still ongoing. Any witnesses are encouraged to call the Sidney Police Department at 937-498-2351.Capt.
