Brothers, please bare with me when I write this... This is not a bash against you.. Bismillah.. Many times we hear individuals warn about women whom make themselves up and intend to seduce & manipulate men for personal interests. Followed by a recitation of teachings that illustrate the consequences of such. Rightly so as this is immoral. But without generalizing, we musnt forget the other half: when have we heard people warn those men who present themselves as pious, seduce a woman by her emotions, gives her hopes of a future and then leaves her hanging? Simply because hes bored of her? Or because of a shallow thing? To which he sees his actions as no big deal in the end? If this topic was addressed, then it may restore the faith of many women. disclaimer: Im not trying to harbor suspicion against pious looking Muslim men. Im referring to a specific type of individual. So please do not be rife with suspicion after reading this. Please bare with me. One must ask where is the mention of a special warning towards serial emotional seducers? If only we knew about the damage it leaves mentally (and even physically due to health problems), we wouldve took this more seriously. Women who went through this can be left struggling for months before they trust another man or pious looking brother again. This is not a mere changing of decisions by the perpetrator. If hopes were raised due to what he said he would do/promised, then this is deception. Young people, men and women alike, need to be taught personal responsibility about their interactions with each other. As well as the psychology of how they may interpret each others behaviors & interaction. We need to be taught to foster personal responsibility. Because it seems that a person may regard their actions as small when in fact it weighs heavy on the other person. Man or woman.
