Unfortunately most people have not heard many of them. I loved it when Jerry Garcia covered his song “Waiting for A Miracle” with JGB. Surprisingly Jimmy Buffet actually covered this song “Pacing The Cage” on one of his albums a few years ago. The lyrical imagery and metaphors in this song are exquisite. “Sunset is an angel weeping… holding out a bloody sword. No matter how I squint I cannot make out what its pointing toward” and this one… “Sometimes the road leads through dark places… Sometimes the darkness is your friend”
