Bruce Mason Memorial Golf Tournament: Attention all golfers, near-golfers and folks who just like being around golfers, the sixteenth annual Bruce Mason Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday Sept 7, 2013 at Lakeshore Country Club (owned by Jeff Sluman) starting at 1pm. A dinner will follow that is open to anyone who would like to come. The cost of $65 includes: golf, cart, prizes, dinner (and of course Lance’s good weather guarantee). The cost for dinner only is $25. If you’ve never played, please consider joining your Good Shepherd family at this fun event, or just come for the dinner. The golf is a scramble format so golfers of all skill levels are welcome. The dinner includes a raffle and lots of “special” awards. It is a great time for all whether you golfed or not. While this is primarily a fellowship event, whatever money we raise is directed to a charity in Bruce’s memory. This year we are delighted to be once again raising money to help Honor Flight Rochester, whose urgent mission is to provide local WWII AND now Korean War veterans, who otherwise would never visit their own memorial in Washington DC, the opportunity to do so.
