Bruno needs our help. This little male Yorkie/Shih Tzu around 5 years old who was picked up as a stray on Fort Knox. He was covered in fleas and his hair was so matted he couldnt open his mouth to eat. He also couldnt see because the hair was so matted over his eyes they are both severely infected. His eyes are also dry- producing no tears so he will likely need medicated drops in his eyes forever. He has a ruptured cornea and will probably lose that eye. He has bloody skin abrasions underneath the matted fur. Shelter Director Foley asked FOHCAS to help this pup, so we took him to our friends at Helmwood Veterinary Clinic. They have helped him get started on the road to good health. FOHCAS needs the communitys help to cover Brunos initial vet bills at Helmwood. No amount is too small.
