Brunswick County is holding an Open House Public Meeting to discuss the Master Planning Project for Smithville Park in Southport, NC. The meeting will be held from 4:00-7:00pm at the Brunswick Center at Southport on Thursday, August 28, 2014. This is an opportunity for the citizens of Brunswick County to voice their opinions and suggestions about the redevelopment of Smithville Park. Brunswick County Parks and Recreation Director, Jim Pryor, will be at the meeting as well as the architects from Site Solutions. We value the public’s input in this process because they are essential in making key decisions about the Master Plan’s direction.
