Bryce is home and resting - I still cant believe this after such a traumatic surgery, but he is! It literally took the Dr. 2 hours to remove the old hardware from Bryces arm - which he gave to Bryce (pic is below). A big Thank you to Courtney Leigh & Me-Me for making his home coming so special. He loved all of the balloons!! His pain is being managed fairly well but this is just the beginning! Some of you have asked me for more information about what was done so I decided to attach some pics of his x-rays showing before and after. The after pic is a mockup from his Dr. This surgery has/will change Bryces life forever. It will actually be months before we even know if this surgery was a success. If it is a success he will only lose the ability to rotate his wrist/forearm. I say only but its huge and it will impact everything he does... things we all take for granted. It breaks my heart to think about this but we know this was the right thing to do. His Dr. couldnt believe how much worse his arm had become in just 3 short months Thank you all so much for the continued prayers, positive thoughts & energy. xoxo
