Buddha teaches us with both perfect speech and actions. To be compatible with the state of Buddha will make our space of activity become larger and larger to pervade the limitless vastness and dharma realm. What you take into consideration is absolutely not just a small limited space or this world, but the limitless Buddhas land. How magnanimous the mind is! There is an old Chinese saying: with a magnanimous mind comes the generous blessings. Therefore, there is nothing that Buddha cannot forgive and tolerate because He has perfect wisdom and blessings. If there is a monastery with a few monks in it who cannot get along with each other harmoniously, then what kind of blessed rewards will they have? Their blessed rewards are so small and pity that they can only sink into the three unhappy gati. All of you have to understand this! ~teaching by Venerable Master Chung Kung
